About Us

The “Sterling Family Medicine Clinic” (SFMC) was founded by Dr. Kerry Sterling on October 29th, 2015.  This premiere primary care clinic will continue to serve Dr. Sterling’s current patients while accepting new clients.  The purpose of this practice is to provide quality healthcare to Men, Women and Children in the Orleans and surrounding Parishes.

 

The clinic is unique as patient services also include Laboratory, Dermatologic Procedures, Urgent Care Hours, and Concierge Medicine. Additional services will also include a Wellness Program for Occupational Health and a Highly Qualified Weight Loss Program.  The clinic serves as a Patient-Centered Medical Home for clients, as recognized by federal and state guidelines. 

 

SFMC is located in the Lower Garden District of New Orleans, LA at 1831 Rousseau St. The Clinic location is two blocks from Wal-Mart and only feet away from Pizza Hut, Anytime Fitness Gym and Metro PCS.  Walk-ins appointments are available to provide the best possible convenience for the patient. Upon arriving and entering the clinic the patient will be greeted with a smile.

Patients will have access to the state of the art Electronic Medical Record System through Athenahealth.com which will allow them to access their lab results, send medicine refill requests, make payments and request appointments.
